Where do young people go when they don’t have a safe space? Once, youth services were able to answer the call with youth clubs and other community-based provision. Today, these vital support services have dwindled to almost nothing.
The UTCAI Youth Development Education Programme is designed to offer new avenues of support for young people across the UK.
The programme operates under the UTCAI principles of solution-focused transformation through holistic, purposeful approaches which build brighter futures for all young people across the UK.
A rolling schedule of: workshops, mentoring, talks, UTCAI Alternative Provision, early intervention projects for young people at risk of exclusion, consultancy and custom community projects, enables UTCAI to address the many barriers young people face with roots in inequality, diversity and inclusion.

line with national frameworks for youth work, every session is structured to be
a profound learning experience which impacts barriers to education and
opportunities necessary for young people to thrive.

shaped to empower every young person, regardless of background or experience,
and ensure they feel valued. Each project builds young people’s practical
skills, self-belief and mindset to help them to go on to achieve their full
potential.
